The inclination is natural. After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wed in unforgettable fashion May 19, the comparisons began in earnest. Just how did their multimillion-dollar vows stack up against his brother Prince William's 2011 wedding to Kate Middleton? 

 

But their beautifully extravagant nuptials may have more in common with those of another American princess: One Kim Kardashian. 

 

Hear me out.Four years ago today, on a sunny May Saturday in Europe, reality TV's reigning queen wed her prince: 21-time Grammy winner Kanye West. There was an impressive array of flowers, a standout Givenchy gown, a gilded carriage and a heaping dollop of speculation about whether a certain family member might attend. Sound a little familiar? 

 Of course for Kim, the drama surrounded brother Rob Kardashian, who flew all the way to Paris for the couple's pre-wedding festivities only to ditch out when the rest of the family boarded private jets to the actually wedding site in Florence, Italy. Feeling insecure about his 100-pound weight gain, Rob nonetheless made the transatlantic trip to support his sister and future brother-in-law. But en route, Kim reported on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, "He read some nasty comments about himself and he just didn't feel comfortable and he didn't want to see all my guests." 

While an insider told E! News that Kim understood, she was no less heartbroken. "It makes me so sad for him," she explained. "And I don't even want to think about it. I don't want to talk about it. Today is my wedding and I don't want to cry. I just want to, you know, have it be a happy day with amazing memories."

  

Because make no mistake, this was the main event. The bachelorette party at the Eiffel Tower, brunch at Valentino Garavani's 17th century Château de Wideville and a pre-wedding dinner at the Palace of Versailles, complete with a performance by Lana Del Ray, guides dressed in Marie Antoinette-inspired garb and an arrival via horse-drawn carriage—those were all nice. (So nice, actually, that one insider told E! News, "Everyone was crying because they had never experienced such a party" and Kim would later reveal that everyone got so drunk, including sister Khloe Kardashian!)
And yet all of those were trumped the moment the duo's 200 guests were told (surprise!) they'd actually be flying to Italy for the vows.

 

The couple purportedly chose the site because of a quiet getaway they enjoyed for Kim's birthday when they upped their relationship status from friends to more in 2012. Really enjoyed. To hear West tell it, they "conceived" the first of their three children, now 4-year-old daughter North, "among the Renaissance masterpieces," he shared with Florence's La Nazione newspaper. "It was our first honeymoon. It is one of the most beautiful cities in the world—for me the most beautiful in Europe."
Offering sweeping views of the city below and hills in the distance, the 16th century Forte di Belvedere (its roughly $400,000 rental fee just a fraction of the estimated total $2.8 million budget) was a stunning spot for a ceremony.

Kim just had to get through a little drama first. First there was Khloe's hangover, so intense that she slept as a glam squad handled her hair and makeup, then the revelation that Rob had split and, finally, Kim's fears her cathedral-length Givenchy veil—matching her custom lace mermaid gown with illusion cutouts—was so heavy it might "make me trip and fall right on my face." 
But when she made her way down to a waiting West she didn't stumble once. Even as she caught sight of famed Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli belting out "Con te Partiro." The singer-songwriter is a favorite of both Kim and her late father Robert Kardashian so he was an appropriate choice for the processional, Kim just assumed they'd use a recorded version. "I thought I was walking to the aisle to his CD playing," she told E! News. "But when I got to the altar, I did a double take and screamed. I couldn't believe he was there himself."
The surprise, arranged by West, left her feeling "like I was walking down the aisle with my dad."

And it was just the first of several breathtaking moments. Standing in front of a staggering wall of white blooms, pastor Rich Wilkerson Jr. led a ceremony as Kim's siblings Khloe, Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner looked on alongside celeb guests such as John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, Rachel Roy and LaLa Anthony. (Fresh off their Met Gala fight and reportedly fearing a run-in with Roy, Beyoncé and Jay-Z begged off.)
After confessing to one pal he'd practiced his self-penned vows in the mirror to commit them to memory, West delivered his heartfelt words without a hitch and the parents to then 11-month-old North (watching in her own custom haute couture Givenchy) sealed their marriage with a kiss.
"The whole wedding was just filled with so much love," Kylie would later confess on Good Morning America. "It was just really amazing to watch that." Echoed sister Kendall, "Everything was amazing. And to see two people so happy. I think that that was probably my favorite part."

Some may have chosen the décor at the reception that followed. In addition to the bright red lights that dotted the fort's perimeter, contemporary American artist Vanessa Beecroft installed several pieces around the sprawling grounds.
And then there were the more than $100,000 worth of floral arrangements courtesy of one of Florence's oldest flower shops, Thierry Boutemy and the 224-foot imperial marble table so large it they needed a crane to hoist it in. And because escort cards are so passé the custom piece was etched with the name of each guest at their assigned spot.

Others may have named the four-course dinner of homemade pasta stuffed with ricotta, monkfish filet and beef filet with potato tarts washed down with glasses of Armand de Brignac champagne and Brunello di Montalcino san Filippo red wine.
But for most, really, the highlight was the entertainment. And we're not just talking about pal Legend's performance of his beloved wedding favorite "All of Me." Or even the fireworks show that soon followed. 

 

Because at some point amongst the cutting of the seven-tier Galateo Ricevimenti cake and dancing to classics such as Etta James' "At Last" (reportedly performed by Legend), Otis Redding' "A Little Tenderness" and Michael Jackson's "Rock With You", the groom took the mic for a 20-minute speech that can only be described as pure Kanye. Along with rambling about being in the limelight and brushing off tabloid covers, a source reports he announced to a cheering room, "I am defined by being a celebrity...the world is our altar."
And he worships at his bride's feet. Calling her famed family an "industry" and "the most remarkable people of our time" who can "make the world a better place," he gushed even further when it came to Kim. The reality star, who presented him a book of selfies as a wedding day gift, was the "ideal celebrity" and the "ideal art."

 

And the inspiration behind the ideal day. Because for all the extravagant touches, one insider insisted to E! News that the "entire wedding felt very normal. It might appear like it was something over the top, but it was very much focused on the important things that mattered most."
With just a touch of excessive revelry. A few months after the bash, Kim shared some details on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. "There was actually one guy and one girl that were completely wasted—actually, there was a couple," she dished, adding that one of her hairdressers "split his pants dancing to Beyoncé's 'Single Ladies' and he had to run out." 

Hey, even the royal wedding got a little rowdy. And as Kim summed up, "It was crazy, but it was so much fun."

Chris Brown's lawyer says no guns, drugs found in house search

Police search followed woman's accusation Tuesday that singer pointed gun at her while at his house.

Police did not find guns or drugs during a search of singer Chris Brown's mansion before his arrest on allegations he threatened a model at gunpoint, his lawyer said Friday.

Mark Geragos said he was present during the search and police did not find evidence to corroborate the accuser's story, including a specific piece of jewelry that she said triggered the incident.

Baylee Curran told reporters that Brown pointed a gun at her face after he and another man became angry with her when she admired the man's diamond necklace.

Brown was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. He was released on $250,000 U.S. bail.

Geragos said the accuser's story was fabricated.

"This woman got irate when she was asked to leave because she was acting in an erratic manner," Geragos said.

Capt. Andy Neiman said the Los Angeles Police Department is working with prosecutors to review the evidence and not commenting on the case.

The Grammy-winning Brown has had legal trouble and problems acquiring international visas since his felony conviction in the 2009 assault of then-girlfriend, Rihanna. He completed probation in that case last year.

Brown has also faced accusations that were proven to be false, Geragos said. He has also had stalkers and several break-ins, including one by a woman who moved into his house while he was away.

So we can all probably relate, on some level, to the following anecdote, revealed byBeyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, on the Today show this week, regarding Beyoncé’s wedding to Jay Z.

Knowles, a fashion designer, made her daughter her wedding dress, a strapless gown with multiple tiers, which was not seen by any of us until it appeared in the 2011 music video for “I Was Here.” (It has since been seen in various clips shared by the singer.) Knowles told theToday show hosts that Beyoncé revealed to her, after the fact, that she . . . may not have loved the dress. “She was so sweet to let me do that. She came back later one day and she said, ‘You know, when my daughter gets married, I’m going to let her pick out her own dress.’” (Ever tactful, that Beyoncé.) Tina continued, “Maybe she wasn’t so excited about it at the time, but she’s a sweetheart.”

Tina made all of Beyoncé’s outfits when she was a part of Destiny’s Child, and launched her House of Deréon clothing line with Beyoncé in 2004.

Perhaps the lesson here is, if Beyoncé can own up to how she really felt about her mother’s work on her wedding dress, and it was all good, you, too, should feel justified and O.K. about coming clean to your parents about any grievances or previously masked frustrations, as well.

Wiz Khalifa is ‘being sued for $2million’ by former record company

Wiz Khalifa has reportedly had a lawsuit slapped on him by his former record company in

response to the one he filed against them.

In May, Khalifa filed the suit for ‘mismanagement’, allegedly claiming the founders of Rostrum

Records often steered him towards deals that would benefit them rather than him since signing

with them in 2005. He claimed for $1million in damages and legal fees as well as the

termination of his contract.

The record company have responded with their own suit, and founder Benjy Grinberg has

blasted the motive behind Wiz’s as ‘fabricated.

Rostrum Records are now arguing that they are entitled to 15% of all royalties earned and

received by the rapper, as well as 15% from his tour and 20% from merchandise sales.

Benjy Grinberg told Billboard: ‘Thirteen years ago, we started Rostrum Records as a label that would support and nurture the artists we believe in.

‘We are very grateful that Rostrum has been able to achieve that goal and provide a strong, family atmosphere where meaningful relationships with the artists is our top priority.

‘To give everything you have to an artist and then be on the receiving end of a fabricated lawsuit is deeply disappointing. What was alleged is, in fact, the complete opposite of our actions and the antithesis of what Rostrum Records and I stand for.

‘Rostrum looks forward to quickly addressing these baseless claims so we can continue to focus our energies on our artists’ success.’

They are seeking $2m for ‘breach of the Operative Agreement’ according to Rolling Stone.

Chris Brown Denies Report That He Assaulted and Stepped on a Fan’s Head: ‘No Fans Were Hurt’

Fighting back! Chris Brown is denying a report that alleges he assaulted and stepped on a fan’s head at a recent concert.

TMZ obtained a video of the “Back to Sleep” singer, 27, performing in Cannes, France, on May 18. At one point in the clip, which was posted online on Saturday, June 4, Brown appears to step on fan Malek Mokrani’s head as he hops off the stage.

According to the site, Mokrani was hospitalized and put in a neck brace after suffering “neck and head pain.” He reportedly plans to file a police report.

Just hours after the video appeared online, Brown took to Instagram to deny that he’d assaulted the man.

“No fans were hurt by Chris Brown; no fans were beat up by Chris Brown,” he said in a video response.

The R&B entertainer continued, “I met the owner, shook his hand. We were partying and everything else. His staff though, security, I don’t think he probably knew who I was. I don’t care but he assaulted me. Grabbed his hand around my throat and tried to push me out the spot when we were walking. My security was already advancing to another spot so we handled the situation accordingly and moved on.”

Brown, who is the father of 2-year-old daughter Royalty, did not clarify whether Mokrani was the man that he claims assaulted him.

“Stop lying to people, saying we beating up fans, ‘cause I don’t do that,” he added.

What if it was published later in my career that I was caught in bed with a man and the story turned out to be false eventually? It means he would leave me and my kids when I get married to him. I should not marry someone like that. I have been tagged a controversial actress and you have to stand by me and if you cannot, then you have to go. He didn’t really have so much issue with my job but whenever I went for a red carpet event and stayed late, he wouldn’t like it. Whenever he was in the country and I stayed out late, he wouldn’t like it. He is based in London. He had issues with anything that kept me out late at night. It is somebody that got married to the likes of Omotola and Chioma Chukwuka. Those are people I look up to.”

He said he wanted an African beauty that is tall, curvy and dark in complexion. His manager sent Flavour my picture and he approved of it. Shortly after, I was contacted and I accepted their offer. Dirty secrets about Tiwa Savage’s husband exposed

More revelations have emerged concerning 323 Entertainment boss, Tee Billz, who is currently caught up in a marriage scandal with his wife, Tiwa Savage.

According to Capital.ng, Tee Billz allegedly has a third child, Ona, with a medical practitioner known as Dr. Vivian Oputa.

Oputa is is the medical director of DermaCare Medical Ltd. and Clinical Director of the Clover Medical Company, Beverly Hills, United States of America (USA), report says.

This new revelation adds to the drama involving Tee Billz, who is said to have a cocaine addiction, avoided financial obligations to his son, Jamil, and stole from his wife, Tiwa Savage.

Tee Billz was prevented from committing suicide on Thursday, April 28, 2016, at the Ikoyi-Lekki bridge in Lagos, by R&B singer Banky W.

The latter went on to accommodate him at his residence till the dust clears up a bit, but according to reports, he has now been evicted by Banky’s mother after she saw Tiwa Savage’s video interview which talked about her marriage problems with him.

Perhaps as an indicator of exactly how virulent the anger towards the new Ghostbusters film is, the trailer has been “disliked” so many times, it is already the most disliked movie trailer in YouTube history.

The Ghostbusters trailer currently has 507,610 dislikes on YouTube. To put that in perspective, the Fantastic Four trailer from last year has only 20,175 dislikes. The Ridiculous Six trailer, which has an impressive 0% on Rotten Tomatoes, has only 5,803 dislikes. Could Ghostbusters be that much worse than either of those two movies? It’s seems unlikely knowing what we know about both Fantastic Four and Ridiculous Six. What is actually happening is that a certain subset of people on the internet have an unhealthy fixation with hating on the Ghostbusters remake and are teaming up to downvote it into oblivion.

Consider some of the rest of the videos on this playlist, which ranks the Top 100 most “disliked” videos on YouTube (current as of April 16, 2016). With 507,610 thumbs down votes, the Ghostbusters trailer is the most disliked movie trailer in the history of YouTube and currently the only movie trailer that even cracks the Top 100. The only other movie-related videos on the list include two versions of “Let It Go” fromFrozen.

Justin Bieber’s “Baby” (#1 on the list) has a whopping 6 million thumbs down votes, but that’s on 1.36 billion views for a 226:1 ratio of views to dislikes. Psy’s “Gangnam Style” video (#4 overall) has almost 1.5 million thumbs down on 2.5 billion views for a relatively high ratio of 1,666:1. The Ghostbusters trailer is remarkable in that it has 507,610 dislikes on just 28.7 million views. That’s a staggering 56:1, almost exactly four times the amount of dislikes per view of Bieber’s aforementioned most disliked video on all of YouTube. (By contrast, a trailer for a movie like Captain America: Civil War has a 5,237:1 ratio.) It’s not just that people dislike it, it’s that they’re disliking it at a highly disproportionate rate to other YouTube videos.

As the inclusion of “Let It Go” might indicate, the majority of the list is filled with songs that were popular but quickly became annoying. Justin Bieber, for example, has 11 of the most disliked videos. But a more telling statistic is that the majority of the videos on the list (59%) star or feature women or female characters. In addition to the Ghostbusters trailer, there’s Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, Madonna, and even Adele. Who hates Adele?!

There is a lot of hatred directed towards the new trailer, primarily because it stars four women (though the haters would have you believe misogyny is not the real driving force behind their invective) and seemingly not at all connected to its quality. Quickly the misogyny began to overwhelm the comments under the Ghostbusters trailer and Sony Pictures was forced to delete many offensive remarks, though it doesn’t take long even now to find comments like, “When are people going to learn that women aren’t funny?“ and “GhostBusters - Fat Dyke Edition”. The dislikes eventually got to a point where it became a game among those who hate the movie and frequently return to watch the numbers grow. When one fan commented, “We made it to 500000 dislikes,” another followed up with an enthusiastic, “Lets [sic] get it to a million!”

And that’s really the bigger problem here. It’s not that people disliked the movie on an organic level. As shown above with Fantastic Four and Ridiculous Six, even when people don’t like a movie they don’t “dislike” it this much. The thumbs down votes aren’t organic, they’re part of a coordinated attack on the film by people who are opposed to its very existence. There have even been reports across the web that angry fans are using bots to artificially drive up the “dislikes” on the trailer. What’s worse, there’s a culture of misogyny and toxicity to YouTube comments that fosters this type of attitude. Just a quick look at the same trailer posted by Sony Pictures to Facebook shows only 12,000 “angry” votes (the Facebook version of the thumbs down “dislike”) on 22 million views.

The good news is that while there are over a half-million “dislikes” on the Ghostbusters trailer, there are still over 27 million people who watched the trailer who either officially liked it or had nothing negative to say about it. So while there may be a vocal minority trying to game the YouTube voting system to bring down a movie with a female cast, they are still the minority.

Sadly, at the rate they are going, it’s not crazy to think the video could reach 1 million dislikes by the time Ghostbusters opens in July. At that point, who knows how much this campaign will have hurt the movie and all this before we have any real idea whether this movie itself is any good.

One critical issue he touched on, is who he thinks is the best rapper.

To FlowKing, Eminem is the only rapper he sees apart from anyone.

He added that he’s rap is a puzzle that he works out with the blend of his educational knowledge as a Scientist and his rich Akan culture.

He says with all these, there’s no doubt that any deep listener of rap music, should adjudge him the best “always on the rise/rice like stew”

When Berla pushed him to talk about Sarkodie especially after the social media rift when “fire bon dem rmx” was released, he said they actually did the song together, to show the fans that they are one people and there’s no hostile relationship between them.

FlowKing quickly added that, he saw Sarkodie coming up as a Rapper and he thinks Sark is doing well too, which is also an inspiration to him.

Talking to conclude the hours long chat on TV, FlowKing congratulated Sarkodie for being a Dad and once again told Berla that Sarkodie is really working hard and he respects his waist.

Guess! that’s another punchline from the Kumasi based rapper, who says the fans should watch out for his new hit titled “My Judgement” which will be the first time he features a female musician ever since going solo.

He also hinted on a work with Efya soon.

Kevin Hart: I Will Host the Oscars One Day!

Kevin Hart may be giving up his stand-up comedy career, but that's okay because the funny man has much bigger aspirations.

Hart tells me that he is pretty confidant he will host the Oscars one day.

"I think in time it will come," Hart, 36, told me at CinemaCon when I asked about the possibility of following in the footsteps of Chris Rock, Ellen DeGeneres, Hugh Jackman, Billy Crystal and more. "I think when it comes, it will be right. I'm definitely not turning my nose up to the opportunity.

"I think it's a stage and I think as a comedian it's something that you want to say you did in your career," he continued. "So when I do, trust me I will make my presence felt. And I think once again, the timing will be right. I'm not in a rush, I'm not going anywhere."

Just a few days ago, Hart co-hosted the MTV Movie Awards with his Central Intelligence co-star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

He'll will next be seen his stand-up comedy tour flick Kevin Hart: What Now? andCentral Intelligence and as a voice in animated The Secret Life of Pets.

Kevin Hart Might Be Quitting Stand-Up Comedy Forever

Kevin Hart might be moving on, and fans won't be too pleased.

The comedian said Wednesday at Las Vegas' CinemaCon that he might be done with stand-up comedy forever, according to Variety. "I don't know if I'm ever going to go out and do it again," Hart told theater owners, adding that his What Now? adventure was "my last f--king tour."

Fans have taken solace in the fact that What Now? is the subject of his upcoming stand-up movie, Kevin Hart: What Now?, so if you didn't get a chance to see him live, you'll be able to see him on the big screen—a place Hart has become quite familiar with given his success in the Ride Along franchise and Get Hard. The upcoming movie features Hart in the middle of his world tour and ends with his sold-out show at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

He was the first comedian to sell out an entire NFL field. His tour ended April 1 with a final performance in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Footage of his upcoming movie was played at the Las Vegas convention, the highlight of which was Hart parodying Denzel Washington's character in The Equalizer. Rather than use a corkscrew to take down Russian gangsters, Hart opted for a wine opener and wound up doused in blood. The preview was aired after people got a good look at the latest Jason Bourne installment.

"I say that is pretty good," Hart quipped, "but mine is better."

Although he kept the funny going from start to finish, whether he was joking about Jason Bourne or entering the presentation like a famous boxer, Hart also turned on serious mode for a moment, telling the audience that he is onboard the laughter-is-the-best-medicine mantra.

"I believe that laughter heals all wounds," he said. "It's a goal of mine to make people understand the power of laughter…I'm that person that you can laugh at."
