Beyoncé May Not Have Been a Fan of the Wedding Dress Her Mother Made Her

“Maybe she wasn’t so excited about it at the time . . .”

have all, from time to time, been a bit . . . inventive with the truth, when it comes to interactions with our parents. “Mom, this halibut is amazing, so, so good.” “No, Uncle Maxwell, for real, I love these dress socks to an extreme degree.” It is often easier, to avoid any hurt feelings or awkward silences, to just smile and nod and say, “Thank you so much.”

So we can all probably relate, on some level, to the following anecdote, revealed byBeyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, on the Today show this week, regarding Beyoncé’s wedding to Jay Z.

Knowles, a fashion designer, made her daughter her wedding dress, a strapless gown with multiple tiers, which was not seen by any of us until it appeared in the 2011 music video for “I Was Here.” (It has since been seen in various clips shared by the singer.) Knowles told theToday show hosts that Beyoncé revealed to her, after the fact, that she . . . may not have loved the dress. “She was so sweet to let me do that. She came back later one day and she said, ‘You know, when my daughter gets married, I’m going to let her pick out her own dress.’” (Ever tactful, that Beyoncé.) Tina continued, “Maybe she wasn’t so excited about it at the time, but she’s a sweetheart.”

Tina made all of Beyoncé’s outfits when she was a part of Destiny’s Child, and launched her House of Deréon clothing line with Beyoncé in 2004.

Perhaps the lesson here is, if Beyoncé can own up to how she really felt about her mother’s work on her wedding dress, and it was all good, you, too, should feel justified and O.K. about coming clean to your parents about any grievances or previously masked frustrations, as well.

Wiz Khalifa is ‘being sued for $2million’ by former record company

Wiz Khalifa has reportedly had a lawsuit slapped on him by his former record company in
response to the one he filed against them.
In May, Khalifa filed the suit for ‘mismanagement’, allegedly claiming the founders of Rostrum
Records often steered him towards deals that would benefit them rather than him since signing
with them in 2005. He claimed for $1million in damages and legal fees as well as the
termination of his contract.
The record company have responded with their own suit, and founder Benjy Grinberg has
blasted the motive behind Wiz’s as ‘fabricated.
Rostrum Records are now arguing that they are entitled to 15% of all royalties earned and
received by the rapper, as well as 15% from his tour and 20% from merchandise sales.

Benjy Grinberg told Billboard: ‘Thirteen years ago, we started Rostrum Records as a label that would support and nurture the artists we believe in.

‘We are very grateful that Rostrum has been able to achieve that goal and provide a strong, family atmosphere where meaningful relationships with the artists is our top priority.

‘To give everything you have to an artist and then be on the receiving end of a fabricated lawsuit is deeply disappointing. What was alleged is, in fact, the complete opposite of our actions and the antithesis of what Rostrum Records and I stand for.

‘Rostrum looks forward to quickly addressing these baseless claims so we can continue to focus our energies on our artists’ success.’

They are seeking $2m for ‘breach of the Operative Agreement’ according to Rolling Stone.

Reps for Wiz Khalifa have been contacted by Metro.co.uk for comment.

Portugal 'dream' edging closer for Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo said it had been an "unforgetable" night as Portugal had reached their target of a semi-final place.
Cristiano Ronaldo took his "dream" of an international title another step closer when Portugal beat Poland in a penalty shootout to reach the European Championship semi-finals.
Robert Lewandowski scored barely 100 seconds into the latest night of Euro 2016 drama before Portugal unleashed the player who many say could lead the country's post-Ronaldo era.

Making his first start at Euro 2016, Renato Sanches, a powerful 18-year-old and already a 35 million euro ($38 million) player, smashed home a 25 metre drive to equalise the match that went into extra time and then penalties.

Ronaldo said it had been an "unforgetable" night as
Portugal had reached their target of a semi-final place. "Everyone should be congratulated."Sanches followed Ronaldo in hitting home his spot kick as Portugal won 5-3, having again failed to win a game in the alloted 90 minutes. That did not prevent relieved Portuguese celebrations.
But the Real Madrid star acknowledged again that the prize he really cherishes is a world or European title. And at 31, he knows time is running out.
"The dream is getting closer and anything can happen now. I'm not missing anything (in honours) and even if my career finished today I would still feel privileged," said the Real Madrid star.
"But I've always said, and I don't hide it, that I would love to win a title with the national team. We're on the right road."
Poland started strongly, with Robert Lewandowski scoring his first goal of Euro 2016 before the stadium had settled.

Bayern boys
Kamil Grosicki hurried past Southampton right-back Cedric Soares to deliver a great cross for Lewandowski to drive past a flailing Rui Patricio as Poland made a flying start.
It was the Polish striker's first goal of the competition, after hitting a record 13 in qualifying.
Sanches, his new teammate at Bayern Munich, came to Portugal's rescue.
German referee Felix Brych waved away Ronaldo's claims for a penalty on 31 minutes despite replays suggesting the Real Madrid star was bundled over by centre-back Michal Pazdan as he went to meet a cross.
Two minutes later, Sanches collected Nani's cutback from the right side of the area and hit a fierce shot that deflected off Grzegorz Krychowiak and beat Lukasz Fabianski at his near post.
Portugal should have hit the winner on 85 minutes, but after sneaking behind Pazan to meet a high ball from substitute Joao Moutinho, Ronaldo's left foot failed to connect with what looked like a simple chance.
Extra time was notable more for the pitch invader who tried to reach Ronaldo than for real scoring chances. Fourteen security personnel carried the Ronaldo fan off after he was caught.
Goalkeeper Rui Patricio and Ricardo Quaresma were Portugal's shootout heroes. Patricio dived left to save Jakub Blaszczykowski's tame fourth shot for the Poles, who had reached the quarter-finals for the first time.

Quaresma was next up for Portugal and made no mistake firing high into the net to beat Fabianski.
Sanches said it was a "wonderful moment for the team" and for himself to score.
He made little of Portugal's failure to make a clear win again.
"People criticise us but we don't care, because we are in the semis," Sanches said.
Ronaldo looked vulnerable, but Portugal coach Fernando Santos hailed his performance as "amazing".
"People focus on Ronaldo because he has to score, but he played amazing, he is a great captain."
Santos said it was "an exaggeration" to say Sanches was taking over from the team's number one player.

"He played a great game, but he is still growing.
"This is not the future Renato because (in the future) he will be an even better player.
"Renato is still growing and he has to take all his qualities and put it all on the pitch."
Poland were disconsolate.

"It hurts and it will hurt for a long time," Lewandowski said as he watched Ronaldo celebrate.
Portugal play the winner of Friday's game between Belgium and Wales in Lille.
The final two quarter finals are between Germany and Italy on Saturday followed by France against underdogs Iceland on Sunday.

Chris Brown Denies Report That He Assaulted and Stepped on a Fan’s Head: ‘No Fans Were Hurt’

Fighting back! Chris Brown is denying a report that alleges he assaulted and stepped on a fan’s head at a recent concert.
TMZ obtained a video of the “Back to Sleep” singer, 27, performing in Cannes, France, on May 18. At one point in the clip, which was posted online on Saturday, June 4, Brown appears to step on fan Malek Mokrani’s head as he hops off the stage.
According to the site, Mokrani was hospitalized and put in a neck brace after suffering “neck and head pain.” He reportedly plans to file a police report.
Just hours after the video appeared online, Brown took to Instagram to deny that he’d assaulted the man.
“No fans were hurt by Chris Brown; no fans were beat up by Chris Brown,” he said in a video response.
The R&B entertainer continued, “I met the owner, shook his hand. We were partying and everything else. His staff though, security, I don’t think he probably knew who I was. I don’t care but he assaulted me. Grabbed his hand around my throat and tried to push me out the spot when we were walking. My security was already advancing to another spot so we handled the situation accordingly and moved on.”
Brown, who is the father of 2-year-old daughter Royalty, did not clarify whether Mokrani was the man that he claims assaulted him.
“Stop lying to people, saying we beating up fans, ‘cause I don’t do that,” he added.

Muhammad Ali: Barack Obama says boxing's 'Greatest' shook up world

US President Barack Obama and boxing great George Foreman have led worldwide tributes to Muhammad Ali, who has died at the age of 74.
"Ali shook up the world - and the world is better for it," Obama said.
Foreman, who was beaten by Ali in the Rumble in the Jungle in 1974, said: "Muhammad Ali made you love him."
British Prime Minister David Cameron, musician Sir Paul McCartney, boxers Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather and golfer Tiger Woods also paid tribute.
Ali was admitted to a hospital in the US city of Phoenix, Arizona on Thursday suffering from a respiratory illness, a condition that was complicated by Parkinson's disease.
The three-time world champion died from septic shock caused by "unspecified natural causes", his spokesman Bob Gunnell said.
Ali's funeral will take place in his home town of Louisville, Kentucky at 19:00 BST on Friday, 10 June, where flags have been flying at half-mast since his death was announced.
Former US president Bill Clinton and comedian Billy Crystal will deliver eulogies at the service, which will be open to the public. A procession will also be held in Louisville on the same day.

What made 'The Greatest' so great?
In a lengthy statement, Obama said both he and wife Michelle "pray that the greatest fighter of them all finally rests in peace".
"Like everyone else on the planet, Michelle and I mourn his passing," he said. "But we're also grateful to God for how fortunate we are to have known him, if just for a while; for how fortunate we all are that The Greatest chose to grace our time."
Ali's quick wit and vocal indignation over racial discrimination made him a compelling character away from the ring. He also refused to be drafted into the Army during the Vietnam War because of his religious beliefs, resulting in him losing his licence and world title.
"He stood with King and Mandela; stood up when it was hard; spoke out when others wouldn't. His fight outside the ring would cost him his title and his public standing," Obama added.
"It would earn him enemies on the left and the right, make him reviled, and nearly send him to jail. But Ali stood his ground. And his victory helped us get used to the America we recognise today.
"He wasn't perfect, of course. For all his magic in the ring, he could be careless with his words, and full of contradictions as his faith evolved. But his wonderful, infectious, even innocent spirit ultimately won him more fans than foes - maybe because in him, we hoped to see something of ourselves.

Sex From Behind – 5 awesome positions for Doggie Style sex

Doggy-style is often considered one position, but as the following will make clear, it’s actually many positions you can try out, all of which can make a difference to you and your partner’s experience.
No doubt, doggie style is a huge favourite among most men and some women. Due to this, it is important for couples to get the best they can out of the move.
These are five amazing ways to enjoy Doggie Style.

1. Tight Legged

You get into the doggie style stance. She keeps her legs closed and he opens his around them. She arches her back and leans on her hands rather than lean down and rest on her elbows on the bed (or whatever surface you happen to be on). To help her maintain that stance, he can wrap his hand around her hair and give it an occasional tug during sex.

2. Upright Torso

He gets into the doggy stance. He lifts her torso along with hers so that both are upright while he penetrates. Doing this in a location where she’s facing the wall or, say, the bedpost, will allow her to place her hands there to maintain balance while he is going in and out.

3. Stand down

While she bends over on the edge of the bed, her feet and shins hanging off it, he stands against it and makes his way in. She can raise or lower her body to accommodate him, and he can stand straight or bend his knees.

4. Bend Over

If she’s much shorter than he is, this position might not be ideal. She faces away with her butt out sticking towards him.  Her torso should be parallel to the ground. He kneels on the edge of the bed, holds on to her hips and makes his way in. It is important to go slowly because she needs to maintain balance. Better yet, she can control the tempo. If needed, a chair or some kind of support for her hands can reduce back fatigue and stabilize her in this position.

5. The Climb

While she’s in position, he stands up and move right over her butt. He bends down to penetrate her. It is important to be balances, otherwise he might end up falling on top of her. He places his hands on her back without pressing down or the help of a wall to maintain balance.
